Microfoam Tape – Hypoallergenic
The Microfoam Tape – Hypoallergenic is a waterproof special plaster which, when cut to size, provides protection against the lower eyelashes sticking together during eyelash extensions.
It is the perfect alternative to eye pads if your customers' eyes water excessively or if they have allergic reactions to ingredients in the hydrogel of our Eye Gel Pads .
Tip for optimal preparation of the microfoam tape – Hypoallergenic
With the following nine steps, you will always have pre-cut pairs of microfoam tapes on hand.
You will need:
- a plastic breakfast or freezer bag
- a pencil
- scissors
Work steps
- Cut the bag open along the side edges (the bottom edge remains attached)
- Open the bag and lay it flat in front of you (the short edge should be facing you).
- Start at the top edge and apply the hypoallergenic Microfoam Tape in pairs, in strips, to the foil.
(1 pair = 2 strips spaced 0.5 cm apart)
Leave a 1 cm gap between the pairs.
- Continue the gluing sequence until you can no longer glue any more pairs.
- Separate the pairs by cutting through the 1 cm wide gap (Cut as close to the microfoam tape as possible.)
- Now fold the pairs together. Use the 0.5 cm wide strip as a fold (you now have two layers of film sandwiched between two layers of hypoallergenic microfoam tape).
- Next, use a pencil to make marks on the hypoallergenic microfoam tape at intervals of 2.5 to 3 cm.
- Cut crescent-shaped arcs from the microfoam tape along the open edge, from mark to mark.
- Finally, cut the adjacent arcs with scissors.
You now have sheets of Microfoam Tape, fixed in pairs to a piece of foil, readily available.
